The coarse tooth configuration has larger teeth for aggressive plunge and linear cutting. It is designed for cutting wood, drywall and other materials such as plastics. This blade is almost as fast as a reciprocating saw and can easily be used for cutting under the kick plate when installing new kitchen flooring, undercutting door jambs or flush cutting tongue-and-groove floor planks. This blade has a step-down flush-cut design to allow the operator to lay the blade flat on a guide surface for a controlled perpendicular cut.
